Daniela Schellenberg

Raised in Switzerland, Daniela played competitive sports at an early age, excelling in a variety of disciplines.

She holds a Masters degree in Sports Kinesiology from the University of Zurich in Switzerland. Her studies included biomechanics, medical anatomy/physiology, and teaching. Daniela has taught sports and fitness for over 20 years in Switzerland and in the US.

After a back injury, she was introduced to the Feldenkrais Method®. This method has helped in her recovery process and inspired her to become a certified Feldenkrais® practitioner. She completed the 4 year Feldenkrais training program in Switzerland. Daniela is a certified Pilates instructor.

Her passion for Golf lead her to become certified as a Titleist Performance Golf Fitness, Level 3 Medical. Recognized as a Movement Specialist in the desert community, she developed SwissFit Golf™ to provide Golfers specialized exercises and movement techniques to play better.

Mike Wilson, PGA Golf Instructor

As a PGA instructor, his knowledge in golf has been invaluable in helping clients get the most from our SwissFit Golf concept. Mike and Daniela work together to offer a "team teaching" approach that offers the clients the best in golf instruction. He has been teaching professional golf since 1993 and is currently the head coach at the Palms Golf Club in La Quinta, California.

 

Kristen Van Meter

Kristen handles the daily operations and marketing. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from San Diego State University.

She is a certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She is also a certified Massage Therapist in Asian studies from Mueller College in San Diego. She teaches "Awareness Through Movement" classes based on the Feldenkrais Method.
